Job Summary

Reporting to the Lead Production Manager, the role, Production Associate- Entry Level will carry out aspects of Production (manufacturing), packaging materials and raw materials, Packaging department, and laboratory work with a keen eye for quality assurance and control. In this role, you will have execution responsibility of key manufacturing and packaging work orders and centers including machinery operation and standard cleaning and maintenance and will aid in the development of good manufacturing (cGMP) processes and procedures. The role may also be partnering with Research and Development on the development of new products as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Lead Production Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Production Associate – Entry Level include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Daily processing of production and packaging work and Batch Recorders
  • Participate in Team training and meetings

  • As needed, assist in developing best practices in Production and Packaging Processes, procedures, workorders and batch records
  • Contributor to work scheduling
  • As needed, contributor to the development of Quality processes and procedures.
  • As needed, contributor to research and development activity as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a clean room, production or laboratory setting under cGMP, FDA or USDA regulated environments preferred.
  • Prior experience running, cleaning, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment preferred.

  • Prior experience preparing production batches, measurements and recipes preferred.

  • Working experience in MS Word, Excel, and Odoo ERP preferred.
